How would you feel at that moment
when God’s judgment is passed
upon a hopeless doomed creature
whom you’ve known in the past

when there was a time set apart
in eternity’s scheme
which brought you two both together
opportunity was keen

in witnessing for Jesus Christ
commanded long ago
you passed the chance to reach this soul
no seed was there to grow
____
a lifetime in living in one’s sin
comes to a close in death
no salvation comes from the grave
no hope in one’s last breath
____
on that great and terrible day
when God will judge the dammed
will you suffer a great remorse
for neglecting God’s plan

He’s trusted us with His gospel
to witness there is need
in reaching souls who are dying
we’re here to plant the seed

some will plant and some will water
but God gives the increase
how will you feel on judgment day
uneasy or at peace
